Holidazzle is the big event of the year in Schertz! You can have breakfast with Santa and get a cute picture for the holiday card. Spend the afternoon shopping at the Kris Kringle Market, where you’ll find hand-crafted goods and delicious treats. Evening entertainment includes a lighted night parade, but the thing everyone is most excited about is the Holiday Hoopla – complete with a real snow slide!
Santa’s Ranch
New Braunfels – November 5-January 2
A drive through Santa’s Ranch is a holiday tradition for many families in the area! It’s one of the greatest light shows in the state, and is the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit. You can drive through over a mile of twinkling light displays while enjoying some hot chocolate, kettle corn and plenty of festive music.

New Braunfels – Year-round, Christmas Market Days on December 4-5
The historic downtown district in New Braunfels offers amazing shopping year-round. Nearly every weekend has some kind of event with vendors offering handmade crafts, antique items, unique jewelry and even things like homemade soaps and jerky. You can really get some shopping done during the Christmas Market Days, with nearly 100 vendors.
Sights & Sounds of Christmas
San Marcos – December 2-4 & 9-11
Ready for an overload of holiday fun? At the Sights & Sounds of Christmas festival you’ll find classic carnival rides and games, a petting zoo, plenty of shopping, pictures with Christmas ponies and a fun scavenger hunt game. You can even try your hand at ice skating, or head over to the Town of Bethlehem to be transported back in time and explore old traditions.
