Meet Jessica Bryant, Lifestyle Director at Homestead
Tuesday July 10th, 2018
Lifestyle Director, Jessica Bryant, is the galvanizing energy behind the activity-filled Homestead community lifestyle. Her everyday mission is to build strong community bonds and lasting friendships through a variety of activities and neighborhood events.
Having moved to Texas after working in the sports and hospitality industry, Jessica loves creating opportunities for families to make memories together. A couple of her favorite past events have been the Friendsgiving potluck in November and the EGGstravaganza event during the Easter holiday.
“The potluck was fun because we were all able to sample our residents’ amazing dishes, while making some really meaningful connections and talking about what we were all thankful for,” she says. Moments like these are at the very root of community and Jessica loves to infuse her events with joy. For the EGGstravaganza, “we were able to bring in a petting zoo, had the Easter bunny out for a visit, and even a small egg hunt.”
Community activities are an important part of what binds neighborhoods together. “I’ve been really excited to see the events grow,” Jessica says, “as more and more folks join the Homestead family.”
Homestead combines family-friendly activities with premium amenities to create a uniquely modern community lifestyle where neighborhood events are a perpetual constant. “I’m most excited about the Homestead for the Holidays celebration in December and our Dog Days of Summer coming up at the end of July,” Jessica adds, “We have so many great areas planned for the residents – resort style pool, splash pad, play equipment, trails, and parks – I can’t wait to utilize them all.”
“When people ask me what a Lifestyle Director does, I tell them I’m in charge of the fun!” she says, “I really enjoy working with our residents to create programming that THEY look forward to. From the moment they move in, I’m there connecting with them on ideas and this really helps keep everything fun, creative and new.”
